The MSA G1 XR Edition Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus is built to provide firefighters with dependable respiratory protection, improved comfort, clear communications, and critical operating information in demanding environments.

Every G1 SCBA can be configured to meet your department’s operational requirements, including cylinder pressure and duration, cylinder connection, facepiece size, communications, emergency breathing options, and other available features.

Lightweight G1 Facepiece

The compact G1 facepiece provides a wide field of view and low breathing resistance both on and off air. Its open-port design includes cross-contamination protection, while the integrated speaking diaphragm helps improve voice clarity.

Clear Operating Information

The control module combines digital and analog information in an easy-to-read display. It automatically activates when raised into the viewing position and provides firefighters with important SCBA information during operations.

The heads-up display uses colored LEDs to show remaining cylinder pressure in four easy-to-understand increments.

Improved Visibility and Communication

Multiple buddy lights and reflective materials make it easier to monitor firefighters in dark or smoke-filled environments. Integrated electronic communications help produce clear speech while reducing breathing noise.
